The situation

A pressure washing and exterior services operation in Hardin County with a 5.0-star rating across 91 Google reviews — earned over two years of good work. By review quality, they were among the best in the market. The problem was that those 91 reviews were invisible to the systems that increasingly drive buying decisions.

When a customer asks Google AI or ChatGPT 'best pressure washer near Elizabethtown,' the AI reads Schema.org structured data to identify businesses and their ratings. This business's site had zero schema markup anywhere: no AggregateRating, no LocalBusiness markup, and no FAQPage schema on 25+ existing blog posts. The 5.0 rating was real. The AI couldn't cite it.

The email domain was half-configured. SPF was present but DMARC was not set, and DKIM was undetected. That meant anyone could spoof emails from their domain — and their own outbound emails (quote follow-ups, seasonal re-booking campaigns for Christmas lights, soft wash packages) were fighting spam filters every time they went out.

Two different phone numbers appeared across their own properties. The number on the website differed from the number on Google Business Profile. Google treats NAP inconsistency as a low-trust signal and penalizes ranking independently of review count or quality.

The inquiry path ended at a Wix contact form. No calendar, no instant quote, no booking flow. Every estimate happened by phone, SMS, or Facebook Messenger with zero attribution tracking. The owner didn't know whether the TikTok and YouTube content he was actively creating was driving calls.

What we built

Schema.org markup site-wide

AggregateRating (91 × 5.0 stars), LocalBusiness with full service list and location, and FAQPage markup on the blog. The 91 reviews are now readable by Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT browsing, and Perplexity. Any competitor who adds schema first owns that citation surface — this business added it first.

Email authentication (SPF / DKIM / DMARC)

Domain secured end-to-end. DMARC policy set to reject spoofed emails. DKIM keys configured and verified. Outbound emails from the domain now reach inboxes instead of spam folders. No third party can impersonate the business via email.

NAP consolidation

Canonical phone number established and standardized across GBP, website, social profiles, and directory listings. The conflicting numbers eliminated.

Booking calendar

Wix contact form replaced with a real booking calendar. Prospects choose their service and time slot without a phone call. Jobs arrive pre-confirmed with full project context captured on booking.

Conversion tracking

First-click to booked-job tracking configured. Source attribution live across all channels. The owner now knows whether the TikTok content, the Google organic traffic, or the GBP listing is generating revenue.

Review showcase on the website

91 five-star reviews surfaced on the site in a browsable format — no longer invisible on Google. Prospects see the proof before they decide, not after they've already moved on.

The result

Every prospect now sees 91 five-star reviews before they decide to call. The reviews that existed only on Google now do work on the site itself.

AI search systems can cite the 5.0 rating when answering 'best pressure washer near Elizabethtown' or similar queries. The business built schema before any local competitor — that first-mover advantage compounds as AI search grows.

The domain is secured. Quote follow-ups and seasonal re-booking campaigns for Christmas lights and soft wash packages now reach inboxes. No impersonation risk.

Revenue attribution is live from day one. Every channel the owner invests time in — TikTok, YouTube, Google organic — now has a trackable line back to booked jobs.
